McNally OMC Alpine Spruce/Royal Fenland Bog Oak
Description
Luthier Ciaran McNally structured this OMC (Orchestra Model + Venetian Cutaway) based on the traditional Martin Orchestra Model, applying Celtic style voicing.
We chose a phenomenal wood that is pretty hot among UK/Ireland-based luthiers nowadays. Bog Oak from Royal Fenland! Thousand years of semi-fossilizing made a fantastic characteristic for a tonewood perspective. It stands in between Highly dense Mahogany and Very hard Ebony, but overall it's got a very glass-like tone. Matching with an Alpine Spruce top is the best choice for McNally's signature sound.
This guitar is currently in the build process and is available for pre-order. We take your payment now and will get in touch once the guitar is ready to be shipped.
